Kayak Rolling Seminar Sec 1

Catalog code: K-ROLL1-FA09, Fall 2009.

Fine tune an Eskimo roll and/or learn more advanced rolls. This two-evening pool-based seminar is designed for those with previous whitewater or sea kayaking paddling experience who wish to develop or refine their rolls.

We'll revisit and refine the brace, and work through on-side rolls for starters. For those with a roll, and interested in taking skills to the next level, we'll explore off-side rolls, hand rolls, screw rolls, and some traditional kayak rolls of Greenland heritage. Start stretching and working on your flexibility now. Not for PE credit.

5 stars Knowledgeable Staff and Lots of Fun (Dec 6, 2005)
Reviewer Robert Luke M. took this course in Fall 2005.

This course was great. I looked forward to this fun study break each time we had class. The instructors were knowledgeable and friendly. I got lots of one-on-one attention that really let me get the most out of the course and improve my skills at rolling a kayak. I recommend this course to anyone who has a bit of kayaking experience and wants to take his/her skills to the next level. Have Fun.
